AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

• Professor Lee is the author of three textbooks published by SPE: Well Testing, Gas Reservoir Engineering, and Pressure Transient Testing.
  John is a past member of the Board of Directors of SPE, has been a Distinguished Lecturer, has received the Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award, and is a Continuing Education Lecturer for SPE. He received the 1986 Reservoir Engineering Award, the Carl Award in 1995, and the Lucas Gold Medal in 2003.  He was named a Distinguished Member in 1987, an Honorary Member in 2001 and received SPE’s Distinguished Service Award in 1992.
